BHAPA PITHA

INGREDIENTS- 2 CUPS OF RICE FLOUR ,1/2 CUP WARM MILK,1/2 TEASP SALT,2 TBSP SHREDED COCONUT, 1/2 CUP SHREDED JAGGERY.

PROCESS-

1. TAKE RICE FLOUR IN MIXING BOWL.ADD SALT.MIX THEM.

2. NOW SLOWLY ADD MILK & START TO MIX THEM.

3. THIS MIXTURE NEITHER BE LIKE A DOUGH NOR A BATTER.

IT WILL JUST BE WET.

WHEN YOU TAKE SOME MIXTURE IN YOUR PALM & PRESS THEM,IT WILL FORM A BALL 1ST ,THEN BREAK DOWN.

4. KEEP THIS MIXTURE ASIDE FOR 6-7 HOURS.

5. TAKE A SPECIAL BHAPA PITHA PAN OR SIMPLY MOMO STEAMER OR ANYTHING YOU CAN STEAM WITH.

6. ADD WATER IN THE STEAMER & BOIL IT.

7. TAKE A SMALL BOWL.ADD MIXTURE HALF THE BOWL.THEN ADD SOME COCONUT & JAGGERY.THEN ADD REST OF THE BOWL WITH THE MIXTURE.

8. NOW TAKE A WET COTTON CLOTH & CLOSE THE SMALL BOWL & MAKE IT UPSIDE DOWN IN THE STEAMER.NOW REMOVE THE BOWL SLOWLY.COVER UP THE BOWL STRUCTURED MIXTURE WITH THAT CLOTH.DONT TRY TO RMOVE AWAY THE CLOTH.

9. COVER THE PAN WITH LID.STEAM IT FOR 5 MINS.

10. NOW YOUR DHAKAI BHAPA PITHA IS READY TO SERVE.
