- Heavy Cream – 1 cup
- Full cream milk – 1 cup
- Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Powdered Sugar – 70 Gms
- Jaggery (GUR) – 1/2 Cup
- 1 storepot vanilla cake (20gm) (ex. britannia)
Take milk in any utensil and place it for boiling. Keep 2-3 tbsp milk in glass. Mix corn flour in the milk in glass and stir until all lumps dissolve.
When milk starts boiling, add corn flour mixture into it and stir well. Cook for 5-6 minutes until milk gets thick (stir the milk so well with a spoon that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of utensil).
Moment when milk thickens, turn of the flame and allow it to cool.
Whip the cream. For this, place the cream bowl over another bowl with ice cubes. With help of electronic hand blender, whip the cream for 2 minutes. Now add 1/2 tsp vanilla essence and whip for 1 minute. Also add powdered sugar and whip for another 1 minute. Add the milk into it and mix nicely. Allow it to set for 1.5 to 2 hours in deep freezer.
After 2 hours, take out the mixture from freezer and whip for another 3-4 minutes. Add jaggery & cake.Now blend well in mixer.And now put the mixture in container and set for 5-6 hours more.
Mouthwatering NOLEN GUR ice cream is ready. Pour hot liquid nolen gur from top & serve.
