RAW MANGO PULAO

INGREDIENTS –

  • 500 GM BOILED RICE
  • 1 tbsp refined oil
  • 1-2 DRY WHOLE RED CHILLIES
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tsp Mustard seed
  • 1 RAW MANGO CHOPPED
  • HEENG (ASAFOETIDA) POWDER TO TASTE
  • Salt to taste
  • BLACK CUMIN SEEDS TO GARNISH

PROCESS-

  1. HEAT OIL IN A PAN.
  2. ADD DRY RED CHILLIES,MUSTARD SEEDS,HEENG POWDER.
  3. NOW ADD GREEN CHILLI,CHOPPED RAW MANGOES,CURRY LEAVES AND SAUTE 2-3 MNS.
  4. NOW ADD BOILED RICE,SALT AND TOSS WELL.SPRINKLE A LITTLE WATER IN THE PAN AND TOSS WELL AGAIN FOR 1 MIN.
  5. GARNISH WELL WITH BLACK CUMIN SEEDS & SERVE.
My Tip: You can also boil rice separately.Use Basmati rice.
