Ingredients to make SHEERMAL

  • 2 cup refined flour
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • few saffron strands dissolved in 2tbsp milk
  • Butter as required
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2teasp kewra water

Steps to make SHEERMAL

  1. Mix yeast with pinch of salt,sugar and 3 tbsp luke warm water.
  2. Pour that yeast mixture in sieved flour.Add an egg into it.Add kewra water.
  3. Pour ghee and milk.Knead a smooth dough and cover it with a wet cloth for minimum 1 hour at room temp..
  4. Take 2tbsp oil in hand and knead the dough again.Now make round size balls with that dough.
  5. Make round shape sheermal with hand and pierce by fork on it.
  6. Brush saffron dissolved milk on it.
  7. Now bake sheermal in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 12 mins.
  8. Brush butter on top and serve hot.
