(BETEL LEAVES WITH COCONUT & GULKAND)

  1. 3-4 paan leaves
  2. 3 tbsp gulkand
  3. 1-2 tbsp dry fruits
  4. 1 cup condensed milk
  5. 2cups desiccated coconut
  6. 1 drops edible green colour
  7. as needed ghee for greasing

    1.  1.  Cut the paan leaves in long shreds, and set a side.In a bowl, add the gulkand and the dry fruits and mix well.In a pan add condensed milk, paan leaves, green colour and 1.5 cups desiccated coconut and cook on low flame Mix well, till everything is combined. Within 2 to 3 minutes, the mixture will start leaving the sides and come together as dough. Switch off the gas and let it rest for 3 to 4 minutes. Grease your palms with ghee. Pinch a small portion of the paan mixture and flatten with your thumb and

    2. 2. Place a bit of gulkand and dry fruits mixture inside and roll between your hands into balls like ladoos. Roll the ladoos in desiccated coconut and keep aside. Serve  chilled.
